WHY YOGA?

Yoga & Meditation is first and foremost a science rooted in over 5000 years of practice. It is not attached to any particular religion, although it’s origins began in India. Yoga works on all spheres of the individual, starting with the physical body and ultimately leading one to a clear, calm, and tranquil mind. This practice is applicable to anyone, anywhere, at any time, and only requires YOU! At FFW we envision Yoga beyond the physical postures to a complete lifestyle transformation.

By Finding the Freedom Within one’s own self, we pave the path to establish freedom in circumstances and situations in our external world that we may otherwise feel trapped by.  In Yoga, one must be a master of one’s own mind instead of being a slave to it. Slowly, through consistent practice, the demands of the world seem less daunting as a state of compassion and clarity is established within.

Yoga literally is defined as “to yoke, to unite”. Weaving the mind, body, and breath together allow for an individual and society to transform from the inside out.
